This volume of Digital Type Foundry type is compatible with most Macintosh computers. All of the PostScript files have been tested with Adobe Type Manager. The type faces were designed using Altsys’ Fontographer 3.3; five fonts are included, viz., Enochian, Hermetica and three varieties of Runic type faces [serif, gothic and Turkish].
The Enochian font is based on a 1580 design which was derived by Doctor John Dee and Sir Edward Kelly. It is also known as “angelic” because it was given to Dee and Kelly by angels in the course of ceremonial magic workings, under orders of Queen Victoria I.
The Hermetica font is a keyset of Astrologic, Alchemical and Magick symbols. It also contains an elementary Hebrew character set.
The Runic type face collection contain a sans-serif Futhark, a serif Futhark font and a Turkish rune font. Both of the Futhark faces contain alternate characters. The Turkish font is incomplete; it is only included to demonstrate how the Futhark characters were given different phonetic attributes by the Turks, yet it does contain characters that are independant of either of the Futhark faces.

The Futhark keyboard mapping was directed by my girlfriend Kimberly.
The Enochian and Hermetic fonts were inspired by a talk with fellow OTO member Keith Moore and the Seattle Pansophia member Hiram Wells.
